Boarding

Welcome

We strive to make your pet's boarding experience a happy and comfortable one while you are out of town. We have separate rooms for large dogs, small dogs, and cats. Your pet will be situated in the appropriate housing for their size. All of our boarding facilities are indoors and climate controlled.

Many pets require medications or special feeding instructions. Our kennel staff is trained to provide your pet with whatever care they require. For your peace of mind we always have a veterinarian on call should a medical issue arise while your pet is boarding with us.

Before Coming to Visit

For the health and safety of all of our boarders, we require that all boarding pets be up to date on the following vaccines as well as free of any internal or external parasites. All boarders must be established patients, we require a client/ doctor relationship and that can be done when vaccines are being up to date.

DOGS
Rabies vaccine
DAP (Distemper, parvo, adenovirus)
Influenza H3N2
Bordetella

CATS
Feline Distemper(FVR-CP)

What to Expect

Please call ahead to reserve kennel facilities as soon as you know the dates you will require for your pet. Pets can be picked up or dropped off during regular business hours Monday-Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm and on Saturdays from 8:30am - 11:30am. We do not offer pickup or drop-offs on Sundays or Holidays.

For boarding animals we provide Hill's Science Diet Sensitive Stomach dry food. Clients are encouraged to bring their pets own food, as abrupt changes in diet can lead to upset stomach. Clients may bring beds and/or blankets from home to give their pets something familiar during their stay, but this is not required. Due to the possibility of chewing or soiling, CCAH will not be held responsible for the loss or destruction of any items left with pets during boarding.

Our first priority is the health and safety of your pet.
If medical problems develop, our kennel assistants may ask for a doctor to examine your pet at the cost of a physical exam. If the doctor feels that treatment is necessary, you will be contacted by phone and any additional treatments will first be authorized. If we are unable to contact you and the doctor feels there are serious problems, your pet will be treated and normal fees will be charged. It is very important that you leave a contact number so we can reach you in an emergency or to pre-approve any potential treatments.
